Wax Museum

I went to the local wax museum with a friend recently and had a blast.
The lights are kept low so as not to over heat the wax sculptures so many of my pictures did not come out that well. Mainly because my hands are shaky and the camera was taking longer to take the pictures. I was able to get a few good shots though.

Hello Abe. This was a part of a display showing how the sculptures are made. This part shows how they paint them, in an attempt to make them look more life-like.

A case full of different molds used for movies or plays and molds of famous/influential people. Can you name them all? I couldn't but I did recognize a few.

Whoopi Goldberg.

The Tin Man.

One of my favorite movies/musicals. Sound of Music, My Fair Lady, Phantom of the Opera, and The King and I are some of the others.

Catwoman.

Sleeping Beauty and Prince Charming.

I know he actually has a name in the story but I can't remember what it is. It's funny though because the sculpture doesn't look very charming to me.

This is probably my favorite picture. Not because of the subjects but because of the layout/positions of the subjects. The museum has an entire walk through display of the life of Jesus. This display shows a young Jesus discussing with and teaching the older priests in the temple. I love the look of slight skepticism from the the priest in the background.
